You will work alongside the General Manager while taking an active role in hiring, onboarding, scheduling, coaching and developing the restaurant team. You will learn the systems behind a successful operation and gain the leadership experience needed to take the next step in your career.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead opening, closing and manager-on-duty shifts
  • Hire and onboard hourly team members
  • Build work and training schedules
  • Coach employees and address performance concerns
  • Recognize strong performance and help employees develop
  • Position the team effectively during busy shifts
  • Maintain accurate payroll and employee records
  • Manage cash-handling procedures and ensure accountability
  • Protect food quality, service, cleanliness and safety standards
  • Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and urgency
  • Identify operational challenges and help implement solutions
  • Support a restaurant culture built around teamwork and accountability


What You Bring

You are organized, dependable and comfortable making decisions in a fast-moving environment. You know how to set expectations, communicate clearly and hold people accountable without losing their respect.


You also understand that becoming a successful General Manager requires more than being good at running shifts. It requires learning how to hire, develop and retain the people who make strong operations possible.


The ideal candidate will have:

  • Three or more years of restaurant or retail management experience
  • Experience supervising hourly employees
  • The ability to open, close and lead shifts independently
  • Strong coaching, communication and organizational skills
  • Confidence handling several priorities at once
  • Experience with scheduling, onboarding or employee documentation
  • The ability to recognize problems and follow through on solutions
  • Comfort learning new restaurant systems and technology
  • Availability to work days, evenings and weekends
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • A valid driver’s license


New restaurant opening experience is preferred but not required.
