The Role

We're seeking an experienced and passionate Rooms Manager to lead our front office and housekeeping teams in delivering exceptional guest experiences. This key leadership position will help establish our service standards and operational excellence from day one.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of front desk, housekeeping, and guest services departments
  • Develop and implement service standards that reflect our boutique philosophy
  • Manage room inventory, forecasting, and revenue optimization strategies
  • Lead, train, and mentor a team of front office and housekeeping staff
  • Ensure exceptional cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms and public spaces
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve service issues with grace and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with other department leaders to create seamless guest experiences
  • Manage departmental budgets and control expenses
  • Implement sustainable practices that align with our environmental commitments


Qualifications

  • 2+ years of management experience in luxury or boutique hotel operations
  • Strong understanding of front office systems and housekeeping operations
  • Exceptional communication skills and proven leadership abilities
  • Experience with property management systems and revenue optimization
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent experience
  • Passion for Southern hospitality and the unique character of Charleston
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
